Yogyakarta- to have a further face-to-face discussion, the two partners of SEAQiM visited the Centre on 7 and 8 November 2022. The first partner was Khairun University, Ternate, which was represented by Ms Sitti Busyrah Muchsin and Ms Wilda Syam Tonra, the lecturers of the Department of Mathematics Education. Their primary agenda visit was to discuss the preparation for the collaboration event, which will be held in Ternate on 14-15 November 2022. The Centre welcomed the invitation by officially nominating the Centre’s Deputy Director for Programme, Dr Farida Nurhasanah and one Centre training specialist, Mr Bungkus Dias Prasetyo as the facilitator in their programme called General lecture programme. ” I plan to introduce the participants to Math City Map, so I will survey that venue first,” said Mr Bungkus. Dr Farida will also be scheduled to teach about STEAM in Mathematics Education.
On 8 November, the Centre welcomed the partner from STKIP Muhammadiyah Kuningan, represented by two mathematics lecturers, Mr Ricki Yuliardi and Mr Tio Heriyana. They plan to collaborate with SEAQiM on 24 November 2022, which is participated by 8 lecturers and 15 students. Besides the lecturers wishing to experience the lecturers’ professional development, lecturers and students also plan to visit KAMPUNG STEM. They plan to have an observation and sharing session with the member of Kampung STEM.
The Centre appreciates their visit and their proposed programmes to SEAQiM. Then the Centre will closely work with them in providing the facilitators and all the supporting matters. “We are happy to receive these collaborations, and let’s do our best to make these programmes a grand success,” said Ms Lely Dian Puspita from Partnership International Public Relations and Marketing Division SEAQiM.
