Supporting ‘Kampus Merdeka”, SEAQiM Accepted Internship Students from UPGRIS

In a recent announcement by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology about the “Kampus Merdeka” program, an initiative program that aimed at providing greater flexibility to universities across Indonesia, the program will provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience and develop the skills they need to succeed in their chosen careers. The program includes internships, apprenticeships, and other programs to help students gain valuable experience and prepare for their jobs.

Monday, 3 April 2023, SEAQiM has accepted five (5) internship students from Universitas PGRI Semarang (UPGRIS), titled “Penerjunan Mahasiswa Magang UPGRIS di SEAQiM”. The activity was held at Conference Room SEAQiM and attended by the Board of Directors of SEAQiM, the Head Divisions of SEAQiM, the Head of the Mathematics Study Program, and an academic advisor from UPGRIS.

On this occasion, Dr Muhammad Prayito, M.Pd., the Head of the Mathematics Study Program of UPGRIS, wishes that the students can further develop their knowledge and they can collaborate and contribute to applying it to SEAQiM. As well as Dr Sumardyono, the SEAQiM Director, warmly welcomed and thanked them for the excellent intention from UPGRIS in sending internship students to SEAQiM. “SEAQiM gladly accepts and tries to provide valuable and meaningful experiences for these internship students”, said Dr Sumardyono in his remark. The agenda continued with the introduction from SEAQiM personnel and the internship students. Afterwards, Mr Suhananto, the Head of TLRMD of SEAQiM, explained the orientation session, including the rules and regulations for the internship students, jobs per division that can be assisted at SEAQiM, also the forthcoming SEAQiM agenda from April to June that allows them to collaborate.

As we continue to move forward in our efforts to build a stronger Indonesia, we must ensure that Indonesian universities are equipped with the resources they need to prepare our students for the challenges of the 21st century. SEAQiM always tries to support “Kampus Merdeka” by offering internship programs in many fields. This effort aligns with its vision and mission to build a brighter future for education in Indonesia.
