Sleman – At the end of 2019, SEAQiM conducted several sharing budget course, usually referred to as in-country course. Similar to the previous in-country courses the Centre had run before, these were conducted in collaboration with district teacher working group.
The first event was held in Bekasi on 20 to 22 November 2019. This programme had been initiated by Sub Rayon 03 SMP Kota Bekasi aims at improving the knowledge of junior high school mathematics teachers in teaching mathematics using joyful learning approach. The participants were so excited within the course activities because they had the opportunity to learn how math teaching could be wrapped in games, puzzles, and hands-on activities.
The next in-country course was participated by sixty junior high school mathematics teachers.
This programme took place at SMP Negeri 1 Nganjuk and SMP Negeri 3 Nganjuk and was held from 25 to 29 November 2019. The topic selected for the course was ICT in mathematics education. The material presented by the facilitators included Desmos, Virtual Manipulatives, Games, Geogebra and Learning Management System (LMS).
The last in-country course focused on STEM in mathematics education for primary school mathematics teachers. The three-day programme was officially opened on 18 December 2019 at UPTD SDN Cilangkap 09, Depok.
