Yogyakarta, Indonesia – From 27 to 29 August 2025, SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics (SEAQiM) organized an Academic Writing Workshop at its Conference Room in Yogyakarta. The three-day program brought together participants from SEAQiM, Universitas AMIKOM Yogyakarta, and Universitas Sebelas Maret.
Throughout the workshop, participants joined interactive sessions led by Prof. Dr. Roberto Araya from the University of Chile. The sessions were designed to provide practical insights and strengthen participants’ skills in academic writing.
The program featured group discussions, writing exercises, and direct feedback sessions, giving participants the opportunity to enhance their manuscripts and share perspectives on publication strategies.
The workshop concluded with a collective discussion on future collaboration and follow-up plans. SEAQiM hopes this program will contribute to building participants’ academic capacity while strengthening Southeast Asia’s role in education.
