Prof Masami Isoda Visiting Indonesia for the second time this year

Yogyakarta – Prof. Masami Isoda (PhD), Director of the Centre for Research on International Cooperation in Education Development (CRICED), University of Tsukuba, Japan, has revisited SEAQiM this year. On October 24-26, 2022, Prof Masami Isoda Visiting Indonesia for the second time this year.

The agenda of Prof Masami Isoda is to visit MOE of the Republic of Indonesia to receive the textbook and discuss further collaborations with SEAQIM. The plan is also to begin the dictionary (lexicon, encyclopedia) project and plan how to use textbooks for lesson study. MOE support SEAQIM to collaborate with whole math educators in Indonesia.

To develop a lexicon/dictionary for lesson study to support the better implementation of the Indonesian Edition of the Primary Mathematics textbook. Developing a lexicon/dictionary may need the collaboration of all Indonesian scholars because it should be sharable terminology for mathematics education. To realise it, Prof Masami met Prof. Indah Emilia Wijayanti, M.Si., as the President of the Indonesian Mathematics Society (Indo MS).
