There is hidden potential in physically folding origami paper to explore congruent two-dimensional shapes. Despite the challenges in counting congruent pairs accurately, the exercise demonstrated that origami, an art form originating from Japan, can serve as an affordable and enjoyable tool to teach mathematical concepts beyond conventional textbooks.
