World leaders have officially endorsed the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a global development agreement. This agreement was made on 25 September 2015 which took place at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters, with the aim of discussing global leadership in overcoming poverty, solutions, and climate change in the form of concrete actions. The SDGs which contain 17 goals (goals) are a global action plan for the next 15 years, valid from 2016 to 2030.
