Krya Global Visits SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics for Potential Collaboration

On October 1, 2024, SEAMEO QITEP in Mathematics (SEAQiM) hosted a significant visit from Krya Global, a leading educational social enterprise. The meeting aimed to explore potential collaboration opportunities between the two institutions.

Antonius MB, S. Kom., M. Med. Kom., Chief Executive of Krya Global, led the delegation. In his formal request, he emphasized Krya Global’s commitment to fostering creativity and innovation in Southeast Asia. The organization has actively worked with various government and non-government bodies, including collaborations with the SEAMEO Secretariat and SEAMEO STEM-Ed.

The meeting, held at SEAQiM’s Conference Room in Yogyakarta, provided a platform for discussing future joint initiatives that could strengthen educational ecosystems and foster innovation in the region. Both parties shared their visions for enhancing math education and integrating innovative solutions to support learning outcomes across Southeast Asia.

Dr. Sumardyono, Director of SEAQiM, accompanied by the Deputy Director for Programme and Administration, warmly welcomed the initiative, stating, “We are excited about the potential collaboration with Krya Global, especially in aligning with our mission to advance education in Southeast Asia.” He emphasized the importance of strategic collaborations in realizing SEAQiM’s mission to provide educational leadership, focusing on enhancing mathematical capabilities for students and educators alike.

The meeting concluded with both SEAQiM and Krya Global committing to explore further collaborative opportunities. Krya Global plans to work closely with SEAQiM to develop innovative projects that can have a lasting impact on students, teachers, and educational systems in Southeast Asia. In particular, discussions about teacher training programs, resource development, and collaborative research projects were highlighted as potential areas for future cooperation.
