SEAMEO Regional Centre for QITEP in Mathematics (SEAQiM) recently concluded its internship programs with students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Enrekang (UNIMEN) and Universitas Tidar Magelang (UNTIDAR), marking a significant milestone in its collaboration with these esteemed institutions.
The closing ceremony for UNIMEN interns was held online on December 6, 2024, while the event for UNTIDAR interns took place offline at the SEAQiM Conference Room on December 13, 2024. Both sessions were attended by SEAQiM’s Director, Dr. Sumardyono, and Deputy Directors, who participated online and in person. Their presence highlighted the importance of this partnership and SEAQiM’s appreciation for the contributions made by the interns.
During the ceremonies, the Director expressed his heartfelt gratitude to both universities for entrusting their students to SEAQiM. He acknowledged the significant role the interns played in supporting SEAQiM’s programs and operations. “We are honored to have hosted these talented and dedicated students. Their hard work and enthusiasm have been instrumental in enhancing the quality of our initiatives. We hope the experience they gained here will serve as a valuable asset in their future endeavors,” said Dr. Sumardyono.
Throughout their internship, students were actively involved in various tasks, including assisting with program planning, documentation, public relations, and technical operations.
