Yogyakarta, 3 July 2023 – In a remarkable development, a group consisting of five (5) talented students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC) has been granted an internship opportunity at SEAQiM to support the prestigious Kampus Merdeka competition. The Kampus Merdeka competition, known for its emphasis on innovation, creativity, and academic excellence, attracts top students from universities nationwide.
The official acceptance was placed in Conference Room, SEAQiM. Representing students’ enthusiasm, Ms. Sumliyah M.Pd., Head of the Mathematics Study Program of UMC, accompanied by two (2) academic supervisors from UMC, expressed deep appreciation for this invaluable opportunity to dive directly into work practices at a regional-level institution, SEAQiM. “We are honoured and pleased to have this prestigious internship opportunity. Hopefully, it will be a good provision for our students,” said Ms Sumliyah in her remark.
The Director of SEAQiM, Dr. Sumardyono, officially extended heartfelt congratulations and warmly recognized the students from UMC. SEAQiM is committed to serving internships from UMC by involving them in SEAQiM’s flagship program and activities. It can sharpen their potential to make a significant impact in real work industries.
The event continued with the discussion of the MoU, which will be agreed upon between SEAQiM and UMC. This internship acceptance is also the start-point of the future and long-lasting collaboration with UMC in supporting the improvement of mathematics education’s quality.
