Mathematics is challenging but joyful. It is shown through the big smiles of my students during our culmination activity in quadratic function. Their task was to build a parabolic bridge with only popsicle sticks and glue. The bridge projects were assessed based on creativity, design, durability, and efficiency. In the Intel Bridge project (https://vimeo.com/89580255), the students used high tech materials and collaborated digitally.
