The Importance of Mathematics and Learning Challenges Mathematics is an essential subject that students must master because it plays a role in various disciplines. Mathematics is also a systematic subject that requires students to understand concepts according to their level. Learning mathematics should be directed to enhance students’ thinking skills. One of the goals of learning mathematics is for students to apply mathematics in daily life and sharpen their thinking skills, thereby improving the quality of human resources. To achieve this goal, the role of the teacher is vital. According to Amaliyah et al. (2022), teachers should deliver material and facilitate and motivate students with innovative and creative learning. Developing models, media, or learning tools can realise teachers’ innovation and creativity.<\/p>\n
