How can we bring mathematics down to earth in the world of students while targeting crucial problems on planet Earth?<\/p>\n

I found an interesting thing in a TV series, The Forest. Oc\u00e9ane, one of the drama and mystery TV series characters, was once frustrated with the environment where he lived and his school. When he poured his heart out to one of his teachers, he intended to drop out of school and leave his hometown. He reasoned, “I’m sick of being here. I’m sick of math…”<\/p>\n
