In 2025, SEAQiM strengthens its alumni network through field-based monitoring and evaluation. This annual initiative is designed to reflect on the outcomes of SEAQiM\u2019s professional development courses, review the impact of training dissemination and classroom implementation, and renew strategies to ensure that SEAQiM\u2019s programs continue to meet the evolving needs of educators and learners in the region.<\/p>\n
This year, conducted through direct, face-to-face visits to four selected schools representing diverse educational contexts across Indonesia at SMAN 1 Likupang – Minahasa Utara (4 November 2025), SDN Percontohan PAM – Makassar, SD Negeri 3 Sudaji – Buleleng, Bali, and SMP Maitreyawira Batam (6 November 2025).<\/p>\n

Each of these schools is home to alumni who have participated in SEAQiM\u2019s regular courses, having been equipped with innovative strategies and approaches to improve the teaching and learning of mathematics. Through the monitoring visits, SEAQiM seeks to gather insights on how the knowledge and skills gained during training are being disseminated, implemented, and sustained in the classrooms.<\/p>\n
The main objective of the 2025 Monitoring and Evaluation is to identify both the achievements and challenges faced by alumni in implementing and disseminating their learning. The process consists of the Alumni Questionnaire, designed to explore their post-training experiences, including implementation progress, dissemination activities, and the challenges they face; Classroom Observation, in which the monitoring team conducts direct classroom observations to witness the integration of new methodologies into actual teaching practice. Observation focuses on lesson structure, student engagement, use of innovative strategies, and the incorporation of SEAQiM-developed resources; Interview Sessions, structured interviews are held with various school stakeholders (alumni, students, school principals, and teacher colleagues) to capture a holistic understanding of the training\u2019s impact.<\/p>\n
Through this reflective and participatory process, SEAQiM continues to empower its alumni as agents of educational transformation. Alumni are not only implementers of new pedagogies but also disseminators, sharing best practices with colleagues, leading professional learning communities, and inspiring innovation within their schools.<\/p>\n
SEAQiM\u2019s Monitoring and Evaluation 2025 also reinforces collaboration with schools and education offices in the region.
