Held on <strong>28 October 2025<\/strong>, the event gathered <strong>150 students<\/strong> from the Mathematics Education Department, who enthusiastically participated in this insightful learning session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The session featured two distinguished speakers from SEAQiM\u2019s academic team. <strong>Mr. Gusnandar Yoga Utama<\/strong> opened the lecture with a presentation on <em>\u201cPengenalan Konsep Dasar STEM\u201d<\/em> (Introduction to Basic Concepts of STEM). He guided participants to explore the foundations and philosophy of STEM education, emphasizing its importance in developing creative, critical, and innovative problem solvers prepared for the challenges of the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p>Following the session, <strong>Mr. Bungkus Dias Prasetyo<\/strong> delivered an engaging talk on <em>\u201cImplementasi STEM dalam Pembelajaran Matematika\u201d<\/em> (Implementation of STEM in Mathematics Learning). Through practical examples and classroom applications, he demonstrated how mathematics can serve as a central discipline that connects science, technology, and engineering, inspiring students to think holistically and contextually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-7257 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/unej25b-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/unej25b-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/unej25b.jpg 413w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Session with Mr. Gusnandar Yoga Utama<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This collaborative initiative underscored SEAQiM\u2019s continuous commitment to supporting teacher education institutions across Indonesia in advancing <strong>STEM-oriented pedagogy<\/strong>. By empowering future educators with relevant knowledge and pedagogical skills, SEAQiM and Universitas Jember aim to nurture a new generation of teachers who can transform mathematics learning into meaningful, inquiry-based experiences for their students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">SEAQiM expressed its sincere appreciation to <strong>Universitas Jember<\/strong> for the opportunity to share expertise and contribute to the professional growth of pre-service teachers.
