The event, attended by FKIP leadership, faculty members, and students from undergraduate to doctoral programs, aimed to explore collaborative opportunities to enhance mathematics education and research in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Hartono, M.A., Dean of FKIP, warmly welcomed the SEAQiM team. He highlighted FKIP&#8217;s achievements through a profile video showcasing the faculty\u2019s commitment to educational excellence. Dr. Hartono emphasized that this visit would pave the way for meaningful collaborations, culminating in agreements to advance mathematics education. He expressed FKIP&#8217;s full support for SEAQiM\u2019s initiatives, reaffirming the shared goal of improving mathematics education standards across Indonesia and the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Deputy Director for Administration (DDA) of SEAQiM commended FKIP for its achievements, as reflected in the profile video, and introduced SEAQiM\u2019s mission to align with Indonesia\u2019s Ministry of Education\u2019s six priority programs, including the promotion of STEM education. SEAQiM also highlighted its internship opportunities for Sriwijaya University students, enabling them to gain professional experience in education-focused projects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Deputy Director for Program (DDP) presented SEAQiM&#8217;s flagship initiatives, to explore collaborative opportunities. The discussion delved into potential collaborations including joint management of Scopus-indexed journals, leveraging FKIP\u2019s expertise and SEAQiM\u2019s network, collaborative international seminars for Southeast Asian educators, STEM and PMRI (Realistic Mathematics Education) training programs for teachers across the region, and internship opportunities and student engagement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Professor Ratu Ilma Indra Putri expressed enthusiasm for advancing research and workshops for educators, particularly in RME and lesson studies.
