Global energy demand continues to rise steadily. The Asia-Pacific assumes a more prominent role as the center of world energy demand. At the same time, political environment and economic situation, fluctuations in the energy market, climate change, and public perception and acceptance exert huge impacts on energy policy making in the Asia-Pacific. Moreover, energy costs are crucial to the competitiveness of energy intensive industries in the region (Beijing Declaration &#8211; Joining Hands towards Sustainable Energy Development in the Asia-Pacific Region, 2014 Energy Ministerial Meeting).<\/p>\n<p>As mentioned above, energy efficiency is crucial for sustainable development of APEC economies. In response with this, therefore SEAMEO Regional Centre for QITEP in mathematics held a research on Energy Efficiency, Resiliency, and Security collaborating with teachers from SDN Deresan, SDIT Assalam Sanden, SMPN 2 Banguntapan, SMAN 2 Yogyakarta, and SMKN 2 Wonosari.<\/p>\n<p>The research varied in different ways for energy saving such as using solar panel, windmill, and water wheel to create electricity.
