SEAQiM has made efforts to introduce and promote STEM to teachers by bridging between getting to know STEM learning and applying it in the classroom. Our effort to answer this problem is to provide STEM learning materials in Indonesian that can be accessed by teachers for free and used in their classes. We plan learning materials (consisting of lesson plans, worksheets, and supplementary materials) that are research-based, incorporate local context and low-cost tools and materials, and are available in English and Bahasa Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 8.0pt 0cm;\">To make these teaching materials more effective, there needs to be implementation in schools so that the teaching materials can be revised and refined according to the findings obtained regarding student responses when using these teaching materials. The learning materials will be implemented in junior and senior high schools in Yogyakarta. On this occasion, SMA Bumi Cendekia Yogyakarta was selected as a model school to conduct \u201cImplementasi Bahan Ajar STEM-CT\u201d that successfully held onsite on 13 and 15 November 2023. Previously, Workshop Pengembangan Asesmen Bahan Ajar STEM+CT was organized on 30-31 October 2023 to support the SEAQiM academic team in developing student assessments on STEM+CT materials and preparing student assessment designs on STEM+CT teaching materials. SEAQiM invited Mr. Dindin Abdul Muiz from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Tasikmalaya and Ms. Rini Oktavia from Universitas Syiah Kuala, Aceh to review and provide supporting input to develop an assessment on STEM-CT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 8.0pt 0cm;\">After being improved, the learning materials are ready to implement. Students from SMA Bumi Cendekia support and are actively involved in the learning process. They learn about \u201cWhen the Lake Runs Dry\u201d to learn deeply about the volume of nature-exist objects, with the integration of STEM and computational thinking by pointing to various natural factors that might influence the calculations on day one. Meanwhile, day two is scheduled for \u201cHappy and Healthy Diet\u201d to calculate and forecast the best composition by using STEM and computational thinking approaches. The implementation ran perfectly with assistance from the SEAQiM specialist team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 8.0pt 0cm;\">The 2nd implementation is planned to be carried out at SMP N 1 Sleman on 21 and 23 November 2023. By doing this, SEAQiM hopes teachers will be more confident to try it in their classrooms and encourage them to create their own STEM learning materials.
