The problem raised in this low-cost STEM project is flooding due to extreme weather, causing the bridge linking villages to collapse. Students use the engineering design process, simple technology, as well as knowledge and skills of science and mathematics about force and solids (cylinder) to make strong bridge piers as a solution to these problems.<\/p>\n
