This course also facilitates mathematics teachers to enhance their ability to design mathematics teaching and learning materials that can nurture the students&#8217; positive attitude towards mathematics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of 35 participants from SEAMEO Member Countries, consisting of 1 participant from Brunei Darussalam, 2 Participants from Lao PDR, 2 Participants from Malaysia, 2 Participants from Myanmar, 3 Participants from the Philippines, 2 participants from Thailand, 4 Participants from Vietnam, 19 participants from Indonesia and 4 University Students have experienced learning the concept of the differentiated instruction related to mathematics teaching-learning with the experts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;I hope you enjoy the two-week course and use this valuable occasion to meet and discuss with various experts that the SEAQiM has provided,&#8221; said Dr Sumardyono in the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During two weeks, not only the expert from SEAQiM but also invited a facilitator from SEA Countries and beyond helped the teachers to recognize their student&#8217;s potential and how to manage the classroom. During the first week, the participants had fruitful sessions with Dr Peter Esperanza from Marshall Cavendish Education Singapore, Dr Takuya Baba from Hiroshima University, Assoc. Prof. Rhonda Faragher from Queensland University Australia, Prof Masami Isoda from Tsukuba University, Ms Patricia Adam from Universitas Indonesia, Dr Adi Nur Cahyono from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Dr Sutanto from Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) and the rest of the facilitators are from internal SEAQiM such as the Director, Dr Sumardyono, Deputy Director for Programme, Dr Farida Nurhasanah, Specialists: Miftahul Hidayah, Ummy Salmah, Uki Rahmawati, Wisnuningtyas Wirani, Russasmita Sri Padmi, Wahid Yunianto, Bungkus Dias, and Gusnandar Yoga Utama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Furthermore, this two-week hybrid course has been set up for around 6&#215;45 minutes by synchronous mode and 3&#215;45 minutes via LMS (Google Classroom) each day. Thus, in the end of the course, the participants had the opportunity to practice their theory by conducting real-teaching in a hybrid mode in Indonesia and Philippines. Namely, the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan Yogyakarta, Mayao Parada Agricultural Integrated High School, Dayap National Integrated High School and Recto Memorial National High School through the zoom meeting platform.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a result of the course, the academic supervisor compiled the score\/assessment of each participant from each facilitator, which resulted in the five best participants, namely: Ms Lydia Valensia SMA Negeri 5 Palembang, Ms Sailah Ar Rizka from MA Negeri Insan Cendekia Pasuruan, Ms Faliqul Jannah Firdausi from SMA Negeri 15 Bandung, Ms Joe Victoria B. Daelo from Luis Palad Integrated High School, The Philippines and Mr Alvin O.
