Thirty (30) junior high school mathematics teachers from four SEAMEO Member Countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand) and eight (8) internship students from Sebelas Maret University have engaged in this virtual event since 26 March 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the beginning of the sessions, Dr Alison Clark-Wilson of the UCL Institute of Education (UK) mainly talked about adjusting teachers&#8217; teaching method with the current development of ICT. On the other occasion, Prof. Zsolt Lavicza from Johannes Kepler University (Austria) and his team brought a lively discussion about GeoGebra and invited the participants to a self trial. The participants were also introduced to Numworx, a digital mathematics platform for secondary school, facilitated by Dr Peter Boon from the University of Utrecht (The Netherlands). This event also featured the SEAQiM academic team, who talked about other points related to ICT-based mathematics learning.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3764 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/ictjhs3-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/ictjhs3-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/ictjhs3.jpg 413w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the closing ceremony, the course academic supervisor announced the three best participants. They were Mr Ronnel C. Tolentino (Dingras National High School, Division of Ilocos Norte, Region 1, the Philippines), Ms Ni Made Sri Aryawati (SMP Australian Independent School Indonesia Bali, Indonesia), and Ms Khoo Kai Wen (SMK Seri Alam 2, Masai, Johor, Malaysia).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I got many new things about ICT from this course, which broaden my horizons and perspectives, particularly in teaching mathematics.
