The event took place at the hall of Joho village, Yogyakarta and was participated by women community of Kampung STEM Joho.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; line-height: 115%; font-family: Ebrima;\">Kampung STEM Joho is a community-based project initiated by SEAQiM in 2018 which aims to introduce the people of Kampung Joho to the integration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in daily life activities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: 115%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3317 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/kmpgstem8820a-300x188.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/kmpgstem8820a-300x188.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/kmpgstem8820a.jpg 413w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; line-height: 115%; font-family: Ebrima;\">In this one-day workshop, Dr. Trisnani Widowati from the Faculty of Technique of UNNES, who is also the community service team leader, gave an interesting presentation particularly on re-using plastic bottles to make handicraft, such as candle holders and lanterns. The participants put into practice what was exemplified by her while keeping the mass gathering procedure at the time of COVID-19 pandemic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; line-height: 115%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3318 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/kmpgstem8820b-251x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"168\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/kmpgstem8820b-251x300.jpg 251w, https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/kmpgstem8820b.jpg 413w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 168px) 100vw, 168px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; line-height: 115%; font-family: Ebrima;\">Dr. Trisnani Widowati mentioned that the handicraft made from used plastic bottles can be used for decorating around the house.
