The celebration was attended by all PPPPTK Matematika and SEAQiM\u2019s staff, and also participants of Joyful Learning Course and Bimtek from Universitas Swagati, Cirebon Jawa Barat. The celebration was dedicated to the mathematical constant &#8220;\u03c0&#8221; (Pi). Magnificently, Pi Day is also celebrated around the world by math lovers on March 14 (3\/14 in the month\/day format). Why 3\/14? Because 3, 1, and 4 are the first three digits of &#8220;\u03c0&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-1048 aligncenter\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/pidaynews2-201x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"265\" height=\"396\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/pidaynews2-201x300.jpg 201w, https:\/\/www.qitepinmath.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/pidaynews2.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 265px) 100vw, 265px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The celebration took place at PPPPTK Matematika\u2019s front yard. \u201cHappy Pi Day everyone, today\u2019s celebration is a proof that math can be joyful, therefore teachers and students will be interesting in learning math\u201d, stated the Head of PPPPTK Matematika in her opening speech. She also acknowledged that today\u2019s celebration has got some recognitions by stakeholders at Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. Cutting \u201c\u03c0&#8221; cake, releasing balloon with \u201c\u03c0\u201d sign, and taking picture in \u201c\u03c0\u201d formation were some highlights of the celebration. In the spirit of Pi Day, all the refreshments provided by the committee were arranged in \u201c\u03c0\u201d sign.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"line-height: 107%;\">Pi is an irrational number. Nobody knows its exact value because no matter how many digits we calculate, the number never ends. By today\u2019s celebration we wish students, teachers, and education personnel be never ending math learners like \u201c\u03c0&#8221;<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 107%;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p
